Practice Values

Patients: We believe that every person is of great worth. Any service we can render to enhance the life of another is a great honor and privilege. We are devoted to delivering the best behavioral and technical skills. As our service is viewed, so we are viewed.

Families: Families are our primary focus. Everything we do must be done with our patient families in mind. Our objective is to provide a better experience than other practices for all involved.

Quality: To achieve patient satisfaction, the quality of our services and communications must be our number one priority. We will make every effort to provide quality care in an environment that is professional, yet friendly and fun. Continuos improvement is essential to our success.

Employees: Our people are our strength. We value teamwork, and approach our practice as a team endeavor, treating each other with trust and respect. We must work to provide opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Business: We must maintain mutually beneficial relationships with our dealers, suppliers, and other business partners.

Excellence: We must strive for excellence in everything we do; in our services, our human relations, our competitiveness, and our profitability.

Integrity: Integrity must never be compromised. Our conduct must be socially responsible and generate a positive contribution to society. As health care workers, we recognize the great responsibility of trust and confidence each member of our patient family places in us. We will always strive to merit this.

Our Practice's Commitment to Education

Dr. Weiss holds an appointment of assistant clinical professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, and is a Clinical Consultant at The Massachusetts General Hospital. At Tufts, Dr. Weiss lectures to the pre-doctoral students on Behavior Management of Children, and conducts seminars for the postdoctoral pediatric dental residents on all aspects of pediatric dentistry. Our office is a mentoring site for these students as they rotate through our office as part of their postdoctoral program. At MGH, Dr. Weiss cares for patients and teaches medical residents and attending physicians about pediatric dentistry. He also gives a lecture series at The Brigham and Women's Hospital Harvard-Wide General Practice Residency Program in Dentistry.

Our office administrator, Kathy Pauze lectures locally and nationally on the policies, systems. and organization of dental practice. As well as communications skills in business and life.

Our clinical hygiene and dental assisting team members give educational presentations to preschool and elementary school students on oral health.

Our office also is a mentoring site for students from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, Boston University School of Medicine, as well as the New England College of Optometry. These first and second year pre-doctoral students learn about caring for children, dentistry for children, and running a private health care practice. Annually we have approximately fifty students visit our office to shadow and learn from our clinicians.

We are proud of our commitments to teach and mentor. Our doctors and staff are available to lecture locally on pediatric dental practice to dental, medical, preschool, and lay groups.
